Why do wokes use words like "homophobes" when they don't know what that means? Do they realize that no one is afraid of them?

“-phobia” does not always mean anxiety due to a sense of impending doom. It can also mean a threat that causes hate. For example, if you see a dog covered in ticks, you may be afraid of catching them yourself. There’s no anxiety, just a threat of catching them that causes you to dislike the dog and avoid the dog completely. The same thing happens with many homophobes. They are threatened, irrationally, by gay sex and exaggerate their response to gay people in return.

It is therefore no wonder that the most homophobic men are the ones most likely to be caught having sex with a man. They are threatened by their own sexuality and reject it and in turn reject the sexuality of others. This rejection, based on the irrational view that homosexuality is a threat either to one’s masculinity or one’s status, is a phobia in spite of the fact that there is no fear of immediate danger. Homophobia decreases when people know gay people personally because they see they can be around them and even accept them without anything bad happening to them. That is why the people who are most afraid of gay people are the ones who should try and be their friends as a way of overcoming that irrational fear.
